In full transparency, I had very low expectations. I haven’t had a great deal of luck with sizing or quality of these types of fun sweaters. This “merry” sweater is perfect. It breathes nicely and the red is a lovely Christmas red. The lettering is raised and very nice quality like an old-school varsity letter. I wore it to work in a fairly conservative office with a white turtleneck and slacks and got many compliments. I also found it to be true to size, forgiving in shape, and not cropped. Read more

I bought this to wear to a Halloween event at Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary, where I volunteer. It didn't have a ton of reviews, but it looked really cute, and for $14 dollars, even if were a dud, it wouldn't have been a big deal. The fit is slightly oversized, the color is bright, the cat and pumpkin are adorable, it's thick enough to stay warm outside, the sweater is soft, and not at all itchy, and the quality is great for the price! Very cute sweater. The material is a little different, but it’s not scratchy and so far hasn’t pilled (worn it three times). There is one spot where my ID badge and keys rubbed it and the fabric looked real fuzzy. I think I can fix it with a sweater shaver and it’s not a fault of the fabric. I just can’t wear my badge around my neck if I’m wearing this sweater. I’ve received lots of compliments on it so far. It is true to size except the sleeves are really long and the cuffs are huge, it doesn’t stay on my wrists, it slides over my hands which is annoying. I fold the cuffs and it helps. I removed one star because of that, otherwise it would get 5 stars and I would probably order other designs. Read more

I was looking forward to wearing this on 4 July once it started cooling off after dark — the sweater arrived two days earlier than expected which was great, but I was disappointed to find that close to the very center of the flag print there is a noticeable “bump,” making the stripe appear overly bumpy. I understand that a knit product will have its imperfections, but I couldn’t ignore this one so I’m returning it. Read more
