For reference, I’m 5’1, 148lbs, jean size 29, bra size 36D. The fabric on this sweater is really soft, stretchy, and has a nice bounce to it. It feels cozy and comfortable to wear, though it seems a bit delicate; probably better to hand wash to keep it looking good. The buttons are a nice touch, but I do wonder if the finish might wear off over time. I ordered my usual size because I like oversized sweaters, and while it fits as expected, I think sizing down would’ve worked better if I wanted to wear it more like a top. I think it looks better unbuttoned. However, the buttonholes are a bit wide and stretched out, which makes them stand out more than I’d like. Overall, it’s a beautiful piece, just not the most flattering style on me. I might gift it to a family member who I know will love and appreciate it more. Read more

When I first spotted this sweater on Amazon, and took notice of the large spectrum of colors it came in, my interest was instantly peaked. Once I realized it was also available in pink, that was all I needed to know to get off the fence and order it. Even though we are into October, it’s still very warm where I live. But cardigans are one of the easiest things to have on hand in case the weather suddenly turns cool, or when entering an establishment with an overzealous air conditioner. That said, until now I only had a couple other cardigans I could use as an extra layer when I needed a little more warmth. This cardigan is as beautiful as it is comfortable and warm. Its fabric mostly consists of a synthetic blend of fibers, but it does have a small percentage of wool. Despite its fiber content, it feels very soft and the fabric doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It is a lovely powder pink color with gold buttons, which allow it to be worn buttoned up or open. Online it looks somewhat like it’s made from boucle, but it is not; the texture is smooth. I don’t know if this is how the other colors also appear, but in the pink, there are some very slight variations in color intensity which give the cardigan an even softer, prettier look. I ordered this sweater in a medium. Usually I wear a size large, and often times in sweaters I will get an extra large because I like to have a looser fit. However, the medium is already oversized and fits the way a large or even an extra large would normally fit, so I would recommend sizing down one size. From all indications, it appears to be well constructed. The stitching is well done, the seams are sturdy and in alignment. The buttons are stitched evenly apart and the ribbed fabric along the neckline and waistline sit flat. This cardigan sweater is a classic, ladylike piece that will easily become a staple in anyone’s wardrobe. The design as a whole is very elegant, and the gold buttons are truly the perfect touch that ties it all together. I’m so glad I decided to get this piece and would highly recommend it for anyone.
