Please note your model number
Ordered this to repair my unit but failed to notice the model number. Apparently it is for a 220 volt model but mine is a 120 volt unit. The repair was easy and everything worked but it only got half as hot as it should. I guess now I have a heavy duty hairdryer instead of a heat gun. Read more
Fixed the heat gun
After an employee dropped the heat gun the ceramic shatter and it sounded like a baby rattle. Order this as a replacement and the thing worked like a charm. Only difference I could tell from the original was the heating element coil diameter was a little smaller. Other than that it works flawlessly. Definitely would recommend! Read more
Do not buy it!
I bought two elements, but both are not expected to be hot because it is just one side of work so that is half heating. I just tested both but the same so I want to return them but the return time is closed. Very bad circumstances. Read more

Not very hot.
Exact fit for my age old heat gun. The coils do not seem to get as hot though. The old could would glow orange and could melt solder. Now the coils just get hot enough to warm decals and emblems for removal. Read more
