They are sharp, have nice machining, very comfortable handles, comes with a sharpener, kitchen shears, chefs knife, santoku knife, bread knife, carving knife, utility knife, paring knife, some steak knives and of course the block/holder looks slick and clean very nice. Excellent quality for an affordable nice. I personally use dalstrong knives and needed a bread knife so wanted to try this since its so low and was curious on the series! This is a very well made knife and extremely sharp, fits easily in your hand and works for most cutting. I have used it for other things not usually used for a paring knife, so very versatile and fits comfortably in my hand. Not for large hands, per se, but still easy to use.
