Wow! Where do I start ? This is another awesome book, as good as “Startup of You”. One of my favorite lessons from that book was that (I’m paraphrasing here) … if you have some knowledge or capability that is in short supply then you will be of value to others in need of that knowledge/capability. The nuggets that I got from this book are 1. “No” is a good response during fundraising 2. Do things that do not scale 3. Watch what they do, not what they say The book is extremely well written, easy to read, and easy to extract the key points. I highly recommend it to any aspiring entrepreneur. I could write a lot more but I don’t have the time …. I gotta produce my first prototype… since I have a “bias toward action” ! :) (another great nugget from the book) Read more

Full of many 5 star fake reviews. EXAMPLE: "CONSIDERING BUSINESS SCHOOL?....THEN READ THIS." HAHAHA and... HA! Long story short. I'm a fan of his podcast show. I rarely pay attention to negative reviews and form my own opinion. I tried putting this book away for good after I pushed hard to read half of the book on a boring weekend. These is almost zero effort and research. Same ol stories. You can read the negative reviews and that will sum it all up. This book is written by a guy who was born rich. He has never seen real struggle or has an idea of what it is. When you have a wealthy family and family friends and you can burn through millions every month then it's easy to build a big company like LinkedIn because your agenda is not to make a profit next QT but to be the biggest first and then worry about profits by using legal loophole and file it all under expense. You will not learn a thing about scaling a Company or gain any real knowledge. It's full of small stories 1 or 3 pages long. This book is an advertisement for the same lame stories we all have heard in the business world about the corps owned by his friends. There are other great companies besides Microsoft, Netflix and Amazon in this world. If you are in 9th grade first year in high school, then you can buy this. Don't buy it to really gain any knowledge or get an edge. Read more
