Needed to replace previously purchased competitor's bulbs after giving out after only 18 months. The filaments were thicker in the old bulbs, but the brightness came very close to those with the new bulbs. (1200 lm vs. 1100 lm), So brightness is not an issue,. Color of 2700K is very easy on the eyes. But greatest improvement was dimmability. It truly goes down to 5% and no annoying buzz! Highly recommended, would buy it again. Read more

Clear and bright. However I bought these 3 years ago and so far have used one as a porch light in the evenings. Product information says they are rated to last 11 years. The one I installed 3 years ago just started to malfunction, now flashing on and off. I replaced it with another bulb from the same pack which is working fine in its place. If requested, I can return the defective bulb to be checked. Read more
