This is one of my all-time favorite tees. I bought it the first time at Fry’s grocery store when they clear and stood out. I love Tea but some thing about green Matcha just never appealed to me. They added lavender to it and that caught my attention so I bought it and I made it and I fell in love with it. If you normally make a tea with one teabag used to for this one. One tea bag will literally make one cup of tea if that is all you want. I’ll make my tea by the pitcher, So I use for teabags. If you decide you want to change the flavor just a tiny bit add an earl grey tea bag to it but only for about 5-10 minutes early grades very strong. I ordered and received this set of 60 premium tea bags that arrives as six boxes of Matcha Love Tea with 10 bags in each box. The boxes were identical and nicely packed. The tea bags are individually sealed with a tiny slit on the package indicate where to open it. There are directions on the box indicating how to best prepare the tea for hot or cold tea. I ordered the Matcha Love with Japanese Matcha, Turmeric, and Yuzu. That is what I received. This is a green tea blend, which means you get some antioxidants along with a slight energy boost that is healthier than most energy drinks and tends to avoid any sort of buzz. Turmeric is the main spice in curry. I won't say it's my favorite spice, but my body has typically found it to be a very healing spice. It is said to have a variety of medicinal purposes, though actual research is mixed. That said, these have tended to be mostly true for me. Turmeric is said to be good for inflammation - and I've found good results with turmeric tea - one of the reasons I ordered this. The flavor here is rather light. It's sort of an earthy flavor that mixes well with the sweeter Yuzu. It's a light, sweet tea that I could easily see as an iced tea - though, I do exclusively use it for hot tea myself. I followed the directions precisely and they worked quite well with good results. I won't say this is my favorite tea. It's not. It's a tea that I will likely use occasionally and for its more healing purposes. I'm glad I have it, though I doubt it'll be part of my regular tea rotation. Instead, I'll likely use it when I feel like my body needs some nurturing or care. With 60 tea bags included, this set is a solid value that I would definitely recommend. Read more
