Appearance: a little brighter pink than expected but overall still looks nice; straps, bottom/side trim is a pinkish tan; medium gray interior that is attached (not loose in the bag); gold hardware; strap w/shoulder pad; same darker pink color as luggage strap on back. Pros: Nicely padded around laptop pocket and all sections of the bag except for the accessory pockets inside the bag. Exterior padded zipper section on the back is large enough it can hold folders/papers/notebook and keep them flat. Front exterior zipper pocket with interior pen and accessory pockets. Nice gold hardware. Lightweight at .7 lbs. Handles feel sturdy and comfortable. Comfortable bag overall. Con: Does not come with a key strap or matching zip bag. Bag does not stand on its own. Conclusion: I actually tried both the 15" and 17" laptop bags for my 15" Macbook Air M4. While the 15" was a nice, more snug fit, I chose the 17" (was a gift) because it provided the extra space I sometimes need to bring work home, and hold my purse, lunch, or a sealed water bottle if needed. The somewhat brighter pink color puts me off a little and while I wanted a pink bag, toning down the shade a bit would be nice, and I would really like to see more color options than pink or lavender. I would love to have a key strap and small matching zip bag to keep my cables more organized and contained. To get around this, I added a clip to my keyring and attach it to one of the shoulder strap rings on th end of the bag or one of the handle buckles, and put my laptop charger and cables in one of the exterior pockets. In the end, I chose the Matein bag over a beautiful pink Lovevook tote or purple Mosiso bag because it's lightweight yet sturdy, has extra padding the other bags don't have, has great organization, and is more comfortable to carry. Love the color, love all of the compartments. Fits everything I can possibly need to take to work - laptop, two make up bags, journal, book, wallet and odds and ends. Amazing bag. Good quality material inside and out. Although the lining on the inside appears thin, it holds up very well. Simple and cute. Very spacious! I can fit my personal & work laptop, with chargers for both in the bag along with a 2in binder, a mouse for my work laptop easily fits in the front pocket. This bag is perfect! It has a slot for my laptop. It has lots of space. I can put a notebook, charger, mouse, hotspot, pens, and sticky notes all in the bag and still have a bit of room. I love being able to use the luggage strap and slide it on my rolling cart handle. Highly recommend! Read more

I have had this bag for a little over two years now while in college. So she has gone through a lot. Despite everything, I have only two complaints, and those are that the handles have peeled, but only at the edges, and it hurts a bit if held for long periods ( could definitely be the amount I am carrying around). Maybe make those handles a bit wider. Overall, it's an amazing bag; it holds so much for me: a 40oz water bottle, laptop charger, laptop, two one-subject notebooks, a pencil bag, a wireless mouse, and I could go on. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to hold a bunch but still wants it to look good. I do not personally use the longer shoulder strap, so I have nothing to say about that part. I purchased the 17 inch pink laptop bag. If you look at the measurements the manufacturer currently gives and look at the photos I took, you will see the bag is a little bit smaller. I did not deduct stars for this. The price is at least 15 dollars more than the next size down. The material is thin and in one photo of mine, you can actually see right through the bag. The padding is minimal and this along with the thin material is the reason for me removing two stars. I also want to add that the manufacturer shipped in a skimpy hole filled plastic bag (see amazon photo) and the bag got delivered wet. I should have also deducted another star! In a pinch for a bag to transport my laptop and notebook, sketchbook and tablet, this will do but I guarantee it will not last more than a season. As cute as a pink bag could be, the “leather” or faux actually has a tint of brown to it. Read more
