TLDR: different colors have different fabric blends I bought a Dark Gray pair in size medium and they are the softest and most comfortable pants I own. They were the only pair I could wear comfortably for the final months of my pregnancy when almost any material touching my skin was very unpleasant. I bought a second pair in black still size medium, but the blend of the material is different. The black pair is thicker and the belly bad is tighter. I found them to be very uncomfortable. Even 3 weeks post partum the belly band is still too tight. I am hopeful they may be more comfortable once my belly is back to its smaller size.
