Matin 35mm Slide Mounts 100 Pieces - Glassless White

I had been faithfully buying the GEPE version, but their unavailability thankfully made me choose the Matin version, which it turns out is superior in every way. The Matin is a hinged model, easy to open, and easy to set the transparency securely in place. The GEPE, which entails two separate pieces, is awkward, and more difficult to insert and set the slide properly, is clumsy to sandwich together, and then must be manipulated to ensure it has been secured properly. Works flawlessly on a flatbed scanner, and is extremely easy to insert the slide properly into the mount. Unlike other plastic mounts, only the positive visual is detected by the scanner which makes the process a lot easier and less time consuming. Highly recommend! Read more

Perfect for any 35mm type film. I had one of those drugstore camera self contained film. I learned that it my say 35mm but it's really smaller than 35mm so when I was trying to pull prints the scanner would not recognize the film as 35mm. Since I knew the scanner recognizes 2x2 slides I ordered the slide mounts and cut the film into individual frames. They do not fill the whole frame but the scanner recognized the entire negative and I was able to pull prints. Read more

These mounts work well to firmly hold the slide film. unfortunately they are significantly thicker than the cardboard the film arrived in. They are difficult to use in my slide projector. I will resort to buying some cardboard mounts to put the cleaned slide films in to project. Read more
