These took a little bit of trial and error to get connected to the app on my phone, but once connected they've been great at letting me know how much power different devices around the house are using. My primary use for them is to put the various vampire devices in my house to sleep when they're not needed. Too many items have a "soft off" and are still drawing 3-10 watts all day and night even if you aren't using them. With these plugs I can just set up a schedule on Google to turn them off at night and back on when the day comes back up. I can also just shout at Google to turn them on and off if I need to. Installation is a no brainer. Just plug it in the wall and then plug in your device. I haven't had any one item, powerstrip or surge protector draw more than these can handle. We're an Android/Google house, but didn't have any real issues with getting them set up on my network except for having to retry adding the device a couple of times. It's pretty great to be able to turn anything they're plugged into on and off from anywhere I have data. The Tuya app is a little basic, but good enough. It does have a fair amount of things it COULD do if you subscribe, but I don't need another subscription to nickel and dime me to death. Read more

Was fine other than one of the four smart outlets would not connect. Frustrating.. Read more

These smart plugs are a great value and work exactly as expected. I really like that they are small enough to fit two in the same outlet without blocking each other. Each plug operates independently, which makes it easy to control multiple devices in one spot. Connecting to my smart home system was quick and simple. The app setup was smooth, and voice control works without delay. They also grip plugs tightly, so nothing feels loose. At a little over ten dollars each, they’re a solid deal for anyone wanting to add smart control to lights, fans, or appliances. Reliable and well designed. Read more

CHEAP CHEAP piece of junk. No instructions. Website registration convoluted. Buyer beware. If I could give a -5 ,-,to this I would. Just wasted $47. In the trash can. Read more

I bought these to connect into Home Assistant. To do so you need a Matter hub in addition to any other (eg. zigbee) hubs on your router. Once I got the hub set up both in home kit and home assistant, setting up these plugs was still not as simple as setting up zigbee devices in home assistant. Generally, I prefer zigbee but it's nice to have options. I've had some issues with these staying connected. No smart home device is plug and play, they require set up and depending on your overall setup some require more than others. These work fine if you are an Apple home running your home on Home Kit, however, if you are an Android or mixed home or wanting to use Home Assistant as your primary service, I feel Zigbee devices are easier to work with. I've With the proper hub these are compatible with either setup. Update: these get very hot just plugged in with nothing running through. Just the led on the plug running. We ended up pulling the one we'd set up and will likely just stick with zigbee. Read more

Setup was quick—scan the QR code, follow the app prompts, and it connects easily. These worked with both Alexa and HomeKit right out of the box (I use a HomePod mini as the hub). The size is compact enough that I can still use the other outlet on a standard wall plate, which is a plus. I like the energy monitoring feature—it’s helped me identify which older devices are quietly driving up our electric bill. You can also set up automations or schedules easily in the app. I have one turn off the coffee machine after an hour and another that cuts power to a space heater when it passes a set energy use. Only thing to know: it’s 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, so make sure your network supports that. Otherwise, these are solid smart plugs that do what they say without fuss. Read more

These are solid little smart plugs—setup took a couple tries, but once connected they’ve been reliable. I like how compact they are; you can fit two in one outlet without blocking anything. They work great with Google Home and the Tuya app, and the energy monitoring is actually useful for spotting standby power hogs. Only downside is setup can be finicky and they run a little warm when idle. Read more

These smart plugs are quick to set up, work flawlessly with HomeKit and Alexa, and are compact enough not to block adjacent outlets. The energy monitoring feature is super helpful for tracking power usage and setting smart automations. Just note they only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Overall, a reliable, no-fuss smart plug that does exactly what it promises. Read more
