I like the corner straps to secure the topper mattress to your primary mattress. The zipper feels very durable. I am using this in my RV. First time camping the dog threw up on it. I was devastated thinking for sure there would be a horrible stain on my mattress. When we got home and I took the cover off I was excited to see the waterproof cover had totally protected the mattress and the stain washed right out of the cover. It wasn't hard to put on. Watch the video. I laid the cover on the bed with the top half folded back. It unzips almost 3/4 around. I placed the mattress on it, then I pulled the cover over as I tucked in the mattress corners. Smoothed it out and zipped it up. Took me about 4 min working alone. The one my daughter helped me with took about two minutes. Bought this cover for a 4" memory foam mattress topper, and am very pleased with its quality and performance. The fabric is durable, the zipper is long and sturdy, and the top layer is soft and doesn't rustle when I turn over in bed. The adjustable corner straps have worked wonders for keeping the topper in place, which previously slid around constantly. While it did have a slight chemical smell when immediately unpackaged, it dissipated after less than 24 hours airing out indoors. I'm not a "hot" sleeper, but I haven't noticed feeling hotter at night as I have before with some mattress covers. This product works perfectly to control my terrible allergies to dust mites and to pacify my neurotic need for all my bedding to be kept pristine and impeccably clean. I tested this pad before putting it on my topper, as I bought a different one a year ago and recently discovered it wasn’t waterproof despite its claim. This one is definitely water proof! After testing it, it took a while to airdry out, but I can live with that. I’m glad it’s washable, but others have said that putting it in a heated dryer can be its downfall. So maybe I’ll hang it out or just dry on a no heat setting. Read more
