I read the bad reviews and almost didn't order the topper because I too suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic back pain. Pain makes it hard for me to sleep, and I can no longer sleep on firm mattresses so I began to purchase Serta memory foam toppers. They were great, only they no longer sell them so I had to find something else. I went through many brands until I read this review, I got it and opened it, there was no need for it to set for 48 hrs, and there were no bad smells or anything. I just unrolled it made my bed and sat down, it felt so soft and I have no problem with it sliding, or leaving an imprint whenever I rollover. It is perfect, I just hope that it lasts as long as my Serta but either way, I will be ordering another queen for myself and a full for my daughter's bedroom. Was planning on getting a new bed as mine is about 9 years old and have seen better days (cheapie mattress). But after pricing it all out, decided to try this topper first. Unlike one I had several years ago on my previous bed, this one does not slip around. The straps keep it in place along with the no-slip bottom. The topper has a nice memory foam that conforms to your body shape, but not so soft that you sink into it or are trapped. I would say it's a medium firmness... not overly "plush," but not firm. For me, was suffering hip and lower back pain and after ONE night's sleep, awoke feeling much better! Only possible down side is that it rose to just a bit under 3", but it's plenty high enough and comfy, so happy with this purchase! Read more

The mattress topper is super comfy. The straps sometimes stay in place but do slip off at times and need to be adjusted. I have had it for a few years and so far has held up well. Read more

Was sleeping on a very hard mattress, this really helped add some cushion. Found a the slight chemical smell went away. The pad slides slightly, but might be my mattress. Overall a great product that helped me be more comfortable. Love the removable cover and the corner straps. Fits true to size. Read more

I bought a sleep number c2 bed and bc i'm a little on the thicker side, i needed a buffer so i wouldn't bottom out on my bed while rolling over. i bought this instead of returning my bed bc the c2 was the only one in my price range, and adding this was way cheaper than the next size up. its super soft, definitely real memory foam, and is cool to the touch. came in with good timing because i have the flu and i'm in my bed more lol Read more
