So nice and thick! Not only holds soapfull nicely as you wash your body, it’s great when you need hot or cold water compress for your head. I like getting the sink water as hot a o can stand it, soak this cloth in the water, ringing it out well and then opening it out to apply to my face. Because of the cloth’s thickness it holds the heat so much longer than my old ones. Edit 8-16-2020 When I needed some new towels, I immediately thought of my wash cloth vendor. I wanted towels larger than normal. They had them. I bought them. I tried one without prewashing... mistake! So I washed all the towels. Now I got towels I can not only wrap up in, but are so nicely absorbent! Yes, there was a bit of shedding but nothing more than I expected. I love the burgundy color! It’s so rich! If the towels hold up as the well as the face towels, I shouldn’t need to reorder for quite a while; BUT when I do, I’ll be back here to reorder. Have you figured it out? Many people rave over products and even say they "love" a product. But I can truly say, "I love these washcloths!" They are the best washcloths I have ever had. I welcomed the chance to review them and to say how well made they are, and a great value. Very plush! I plan on buying more and will replace all of my washcloths with the Maura washcloths. Very soft plush towels for the money. They washed up well first go through but I can’t review on durability till I’ve had them longer. Shopped around at local retailers and couldn’t touch the price even with sales for a towel of this quality. I chose the gray and it worked beautiful for me. I would say it is on the warm side as opposed to bluish or silver gray. I wish they made matching rugs and shower Matt’s. Read more

These are really very very soft & nice and they come out of the wash looking & feeling just as nice. I ordered one set just to try them out, but I am going to order another because my husband & I both love them.
