This sleep mask is comfortable for all night sleep. Blocks 99% of light - I get a little bit of light around my nose, but doesnt bother me after I adjust the mask. The part that touches your face is soft and cool. The band around the back doesnt include any velcro, so won't get caught in hair. The strap is like a bra strap, so very easy to adjust. I bought these for myself and husband, as well as my two kids (8 & 12) and the masks nicely fit us all. Loved them so much we bought extra to leave in our luggage for travel and another set to leave in our travel trailer. We all definitely get more sleep and better sleep when using a sleep mask. These eye masks block light well without being too heavy. The inside fabric is very soft. The mask and adjustable bands are comfortable and seem sturdy. I aired the masks out before use and the chemical smell went away pretty quickly. The adjustable metal piece in the nose part gets wonky pretty fast but still sort of works. Read more

These Mavogel sleep masks are great. Extremely comfortable. Adjustable. I have street lights that will shine through the sides of my windows, despite utilizing blackout shades; these sleep masks block the light out. I'm very photosensitive when I get migraines, needing to lay or (try to) sleep in a dark (& quiet) room. Sensitive to flashing light, such as lightning or fireworks. The flashing light inherent to lightning gave me the idea to buy the blackout shades, from where light still protrudes through. I tested the Magovel sleep mask, while wearing it, by shining an LED flashlight at my eyes from arm's length. The sleep mask completely blocked the flashlight's beam. I highly recommend the Magovel sleep masks. I would think they would work well for those who work at night and sleep during the daytime, people like myself who get migraines, and great for those trying to sleep while in flight. I bought the 2-pack; very reasonably priced. I keep one in my nightstand for regular use and keep the other in my carry-on for use while traveling. These would be wonderful gifts as well; as they're adjustable, they'd fit people with smaller to larger heads, young and old. Easy to maintain. Every sleep mask I've ever tried has light leakage, most commonly near the nose, EXCEPT for this item... before they changed it. The first few times I ordered this mask, they were superb. No light leakage, though I did tend to have to adjust the wire in the nose every night. Eventually that wire would break and poke through, necessitating replacing the mask. For a while, the replacements were just as good. I'm not sure when they changed it, but there's quite a lot of light leakage now, both at the nose and the periphery. Best I can tell, they changed the wire on the nose and maybe shrank the mask slightly. Read more
