Well made and can handle a large number of business cards. It has dividers for alphabetizing. I recommend it. Read more
I bought this hoping it'd work out well for holding Sleeved game cards for my Eldritch Horror and Forsaken expansion. The sleeved cards are an exact fit, They're no tight but they have to be inserted perfectly when put away or they get caught up on the bars at the bottom of the holder (what the dividers slide along). While they worked great for the cards, they didn't work out so great for the game box as I had forgotten to include the depth needed to include the game board inside the box as well. oops. PROS: + nice metal case + Contrary to what people stated, there IS a card stopper for when you don't have enough cards to fill the entire case. (it is black and included in one of my pictures) + lid is very thin, not adding much height to the holder. + lid can be removed and used as a tray for cards, game pieces etc. CONS: - Lid is not connected. If you're not using it like I am, it may be annoying. - front AND back ends have no way to lock in place. They expand, presumably to allow you to thumb through your cards easier, but without the lid on, they can be pushed open if you have it stuffed full of cards. I may have to glue at least 1 side permanent shut. - "Max Gear" logo on the ends is annoying, but easily enough to remedy with a cutout/image to place over it. I'm a DIYer often times so this isn't too big of a deal. Read more

Instead of a pile of business cards, this filing box easily organizes that pile. The box doesn't take up much room even though it holds a lot of cards. Each letter of the alphabet has its' own tab. Read more
We're using it for parent badges (plastic probably the thickness of a credit card) for school. Each box holds about 260 plastic cards give or take a few with the 20 dividers privided. This is a comfortable fit, so you can sift through easily with your fingers, reading names. The A-Z dividers are extremely sturdy and made of plastic. The ends clip into a bar on the inside and I was pretty rough on them inserting and reinserting and pulling them out.... And they even bend or crack. They double up on some of the letters of the alphabet, which I didn't care for but not a deal breaker. I just used other colorful cards to divide the letters. We have 705 students with approximately (doubled) for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncle's, siblings, nannies, etc... for identification. We bought 2 boxes but probably could have used 4. Love that both ends of the box hinges expand out. Could be great for conventions and conferences alike. One last thing, if you're not familiar with the English alphabet, they number the tabs for you, LOL😆 Very happy with the purchase. Read more

Perfect for my business needs Read more
This item looks good on the outside. However, the inside has major flaws. First, the index tabs (alphabetized) are flimsy and only attached loosely to two thin rails on the bottom. Next problem is there is nothing holding the tops of the index cards in place. So, the index cards cannot support the business cards and they all fall flat (related to last problem - next). When you try to pick them up, they pull off the rail and the business cards get stuck under the rail and are difficult to retrieve. But the worst part is that there is no mechanism to hold all the cards if the box isn't entirely full. If you don't have 800 card to fill up this box, the index partitions aren't solid enough, so all of them fall flat. If there was a spring, or even sliding, mechanism which would keep sufficient pressure on the cards, the above problems may not be an issue at all. Very disappointed. EDIT 1/3/18: Although this product did not meet my expectations, the people at MaxGear did. They quickly reached out to me after my review posted and tried to figure out the best way to make me satisfied. I appreciate their efforts and how they responded to my criticism. I upped this review from 1 to 3 stars for their efforts. Based on what they did, if I find another MaxGear product I may be interested in, I won't hesitate to deal with them again. Read more
I’m getting this four stars only because top doesn’t stay on as as well as as I would like to. I use this in my car for work and I have to keep a rubber band around it to ensure it doesn’t fall open in cards go everywhere. Read more
