The media could not be loaded. As a teacher in the classroom, I remember when dry erase markers were first on the market and how some of them were unbearably odorous. Those strong smells give me a headache, so I am picky about selecting a dry erase brand. Sometimes a low odor brand trades off a poor marking ability to achieve the less noticeable smell. I would say this marker achieves low odor with good marking ability. The set comes with four markers. I tested them all to make sure they all worked well. The lid comes off and can secure to the opposite end. The tip has a skinny and a broad stroke. The skinny is not as thin as some pens I’ve used, but is a nice variability. At home I use dry erase on a monthly planning calendar, and this set is probably a little too wide for this purpose. It is better suited to doing writing or math practice, or maybe just making a list on a bigger board. Sometimes I need to fit more details in a small space and this set is not for that. I would say the ink is low-odor, not no-odor. It does have a faint smell if you get close enough to the tip. It did not give me a headache, so I had no issues with the smell. The erase worked fine. The thing about dry erase is that you do have to wait for it to dry to be able to completely erase. This is a highly pigment ink, so it does take quite a few seconds to completely dry before you can use the eraser on it without smearing. This is true of all erasable markers I’ve used, so I feel like this is a pretty standard thing to expect from a dry erase marker. The eraser is very light foam which is good because the magnetic mechanism on it is pretty light duty. It does stick to my board, but it is not a strong stick, and doesn’t take much to pull it off. The size is perfect for my needs, so I appreciate it being more compact. Overall this is a good set for me to use on my planner easy month, and I expect it will last me at least the year before I need to get a new one. Read more

I’ve used a lot of dry erase markers over the years, and these actually surprised me in a good way for a budget set. The black ink is dark and bold, not that faded gray tone some cheaper markers give off, and each one wrote smoothly right from the start without any skipping or dry patches. The chisel tips have good structure and feel firm rather than soft, which makes it easy to switch between thicker and finer lines without the edge feeling sloppy and really easy to use. They erase cleanly with no ghosting left behind, even after letting the writing sit for a bit, and the included eraser works better than I expected. Both the markers and the eraser feel comfortable in hand and are a good everyday size, not tiny or awkward. The only thing I noticed is the smell, which isn’t as harsh as a permanent marker but is still stronger than I’d consider truly low odor. It’s not overpowering, just noticeable and a little different than typical brands. We needed new dry erase markers for our extensive family planning calendar and lists. So we were looking for something bolt, doesn't dry out, and has a strong chisel to enhance legibility. This market has hit all those marks and has been holding up great the last few months. We also love the included eraser which works amazing! The market is super strong with a nice bold black finish. The lines are crisp and sharp with no bleeding and variable thickness depending on which part of the chisel you use. Overall, these markers have served our needs perfect, and would recommend! I use dry erase markers for my weekly grocery list board and wanted to test this Maxtek brand and they delivered! These work very well but what works the best is the eraser. I have a different felt eraser that just smears the dry ink around and this one removes it! The chiseled tips of these markers allow for a fine, medium and thick line to be drawn. These dry quickly, ink flows well and the best is that the ink erased wonderfully using the eraser. The black is dark and saturated, no streaking or light spots. These are really solid dry erase markers. The ink is a deep, dark black that shows up clearly on the board, and there’s essentially no noticeable odor while using them. They write smoothly and erase very cleanly without leaving ghosting or residue behind. The included eraser is also surprisingly good—much better than the typical small felt erasers that come with marker sets. It removes ink quickly and completely. This is a good set that met my expectations. The markers are plenty wet, and the color is dark and visible. I have a whiteboard in my office for temporary reminders and notes, and the tips on these are a good size for easy writing and legibility. The eraser is very lightweight, and it works just fine. I have another eraser that I will continue to use because I can, but this one gets the job done. It is magnetic, so it sticks to the board, which is great. The price seems reasonable for four markers and an eraser. If you need a bunch of markers or a variety of colors, maybe there are better options, but this is great for someone with basic needs. Realizing that they are "low odor", I will vouch for that. I am particularly sensitive to smells like markers and fingernail polish, and these haven't bothered me at all. Read more
