This is a bright, crisp bulb being used outdoors in a 110 volt roof overhang soffit fixture. It has been in use for 4 months and so far, it is working as promised. It is only on or off, generally for 12+ hours per day continuously. No dimming. The bulbs burn base up in closed fixtures. We have 8 being used. Nice light output. Nice color. Pleasingly bright. If there is any change in my experience, I'll update the review. I have previously used some similar LED bulbs for the soffits that ALL failed miserably after just several months. Overall, the product is good. We are happy with the brightness, used in the living room. But the lifespan is definitely shorter than 25000+ hours. After 7 months (~210 days, less than 5000 hours), two of six bulbs were dead. Not sure how long the rest will work. Good bright light, much better than any others I have tried. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 lights I installed (have 4 overhead lights in room) started flickering and died after only 5 months. All 3 died within a day of each other, which tells me I either got a bad batch, or they don't last as long as advertised. I have a hunch the 4th light is going to start flickering soon too. But it was a good light while it lasted. Edit: Maxvolador reached out to me and offered a full refund, which was processed within a day or so. So I raised the review by 1 star for excellent customer service. I don't think a company would offer a refund if they didn't feel confident in their product, so very possible (as I said above) I just got a bad batch. Read more

So far, other than their size (larger than normal 100 watt LED bulbs), these have been great. The difference between these and normal 100-watt bulbs from the same brand is dramatic. Because these are physically larger, they won't work everywhere, but where they do, you get a bonus pop of light. Read more

Brightest gd bulb I have ever used. Typical medium-base light bulbs come in three "white" colors; soft white (2700k), bright white (3000k), and daylight (5000k). The measure of illumination, or brightness (not color), is in lumens, with typical lumens for standard bulbs 60w (800 lumens), 75w (1120 lumens), 100w (1500 lumens). These studs are 5000k and 2600 lumens... let that sink in.... Bought them for the wife's living room. She's always complaining that the lamps in the room she damn well never uses but leaves the damn lights on all damn day are too damn dim, so I put these bad boys in there. The room went from 2700k/2240-lumens to 5000k/5200-lumens. Let's just say a surgeon would approve. It's so bright it scared the cat so bad he almost broke his neck jumping over the stairwell in his hurry to go find a spot on the carpet where the little sh*t hasn't yet thrown up... They're absolutely super bright, but here's the mistake I made. The color of these are 5000k, so the whiteness of the light is too harsh for a living room. So, I put one in my utility room and it's awesome, I can see everything. I can see so well in this room that I can now see stuff in the room on the other side of the wall... I then put two in my back door motion light and it lights up the whole porch, plus the neighbors living room, but I don't like them much so that's a bonus. I'm now looking for 5000k 2600+ lumen outdoor floodlights. That ought to light up the back yard and that one weird guy to my back right who complains about everything is gonna hate it, so again, bonus. Summarily, these are not the type of bulbs for those rooms where you relax, but they are absolutely the right bulb for a utility room, a garage, and back yards with annoying neighbors.
