Very sturdy and solid. That new tire smell resonates when you open the box. I've had a pair of these for years for my camper; I needed a second pair for my utility trailer. These give you two options for whatever suits your need for grip. As you can see, there are two surfaces on each sloped side. I'd imagine the smoother side is for the tire - if you feel your tire is just going to push the chock down the road. Use the aggressive side towards the tire so the tread of the tire digs into it. I personally use the "handles" to loop a cable lock through them for questionable places you might feel they could walk away. Read more
