I read so many mixed reviews of this bed/chair and similar options. I had almost talked myself out of purchasing one. I ended up deciding on the Maxyoyo folding bed in gray and it is perfect! This one has removable covers for easy cleaning and has a solid block of foam ...not stuffing or foam pieces. It is firm ... Like to where it doesn't flatten to the floor when you lay or sit on it...but still comfortable to sleep on. I am 5'4 and 258 lbs and it was sturdy and supportive both as a chair and a bed. The photos attached are from only 5 minutes after expanding! Nothing came ripped turn or damaged. I hope this helps. Someone else make a decision. If you're in between I say go for it. One of the best purchases for children! This has been one of the best purchases for my daughter. She is tall and regular kids mattresses for traveling are typically not long enough. It’s super comfortable and thick which beats any air mattress. She loves having this comfy seat in her room as well and I love that it is multifunctional when not needed for traveling. I purchased 2 of these because I was not able to obtain a new real couch before some coming guests would arrive. The intent was to use as both a small couch and also as 2 single beds for my guests. I was worried the couch would sit too low, but it's really fine, just lower than I'm used to. It is super comfortable, and I love them because I can easily turn them on their sides to keep the pets off (dogs ruined my old couch). The one thing that takes a star away is the bed formation is not stable. Bed is firm and super comfortable, but since there is no mechanism to keep the 2 cushions together, they will drift apart during the night. One of my guests resorted to sleeping in a recliner instead. I tried it myself last night, and yup, my rear end was eventually on the floor. All it needs is a strap/belt to go all the way around it, or some kind of shorter buckling straps to keep it in the bed formation, like the straps that are there to keep it in the chair formation. I received the chair a day earlier than I expected. I live in the middle of nowhere, and the closest UPS/FedEx terminal is over 50 miles away. It arrived in the manufacturer's packaging and was in good condition. Unboxing was simple, and as soon as it was released, it started to expand. I waited the full 48 hours before I tried it, and it is as advertised. It sits OK, without collapsing, and easily converts from a chair to a bed. I've only slept in it once, but while not being equal to a mattress, it was surprisingly comfortable. For the money, it was a good buy. Read more
