I been ordering these now for 5 times in a row and didn't disappoint so far High quality for a great price So much cheaper than big stores Only recommend to wax foundation extra Read more
The media could not be loaded. These MayBeeframes came unassembled with 20 side supports (one for each side), 10 toprails, 10 bottom rails, & 10 prewaxed foundation sleeves & plenty of nails. Assembly waseslf-explanatory, though there were enclosed instructions with pictures. It was quick & very easy! I used wood glue, a ryobi brad nailer, 1 1/2" brads (instead of the enclosed nails) to put them together. But, a person could easily use a hammer & the nails provided to assemble them. They all fit together perfectly with no warping, or misfitting pieces. It was too easy! The wax foundations are very wax-y. I bought the yellow waxed ones. Compared to others I have previously purchased from amazon, the wax coverage is better. You can feel there's a good coating & you can actually smell the wax when you open the box. Can't wait for the new tenants to move in! Total time spent assembling 10 frames: <30 minutes. Skill level: Novice. Finished product: Excellent! Will purchase again. Read more

They fit great in the large langstroth brood box. They do seem to be coated in beeswax, which supposedly attracts the bees, but I have yet to actually use it since I am just starting beekeeping, although ive done my fair amount of research Cons: -The assembly instructions are not exactly clear, but its no rocket science -some frames crack at the moment of nailing them together. You could essentially just glue them together, but keep in mind that these things become quite heavy when the bees do their job of filling it. I still have to test their sturdiness when full, but alterations can be made accordingly if necessary, after all its wood and its very easy to work with Read more
This is a very good product with a nice layer of wax on the foundation. I will be purchasing this again. Thank you. Read more

Very quick and easy to assemble. We had to replace several frames in our current hive and these were exactly what we needed. Once together they felt pretty sturdy. Read more
These were of surprisingly good quality considering the price. The wood was mostly straight grain with zero flaws or blemishes. The joint fit was tight without any gaps. I used 18 gauge pneumatic staples instead of the included nails. I feel those will be stronger and more durable. The foundations have a nice even thin coat of wax. I have nothing to complain about with these frames. Read more
