This foundation is absolutely amazing and it has already become my favorite foundation out of all the ones I wear. I was skeptical to buy it because the reviews have been mixed. I think if you have oily skin, it seems that you probably won’t like this one and apparently the shades are not that great, but for me personally , I have normal skin so this is absolutely beautiful on my mature skin. It feels so nice going on. It doesn’t settle into any lines or wrinkles. It covers. It doesn’t look like makeup and it doesn’t feel like make up and the shade I got 118 does not oxidize on me. I did have to go down a few shades from my normal Maybelline shade numbers. I would recommend getting a shade 10 digits less than whatever you normally use in Maybelline fit me or Maybelline serum foundation. Read more

I purchased 090 neutral with fair neutral combo skin. The finish of this after about six hours of light-activity wear without powder was gorgeous. It was perfectly glowy without looking greasy, and sat well over my dry patches. It was light, natural-looking coverage, which I prefer. Unfortunately, despite a great color match on application, it oxidized to be completely orange. In fact, it was an unwearable and clown-faced orange that I couldn’t even tamp down with concealer. I understand and accept that some oxidation can occur, even in my favorite foundation (NARS Light Reflecting). But such an extreme change is ridiculous and disappointing. I couldn’t believe the difference between the color of the bottle and what I was seeing on my face. Clearly this is an oversight in the formula since I chose a neutral / light shade. If you’re tan, this could be a good foundation for you, but otherwise, steer clear. Read more

I don’t understand how this says plump and glow, it looked so dry and patchy on my skin. Usually Maybelline complexion products match me pretty well and the shades have been consistent among the products but for some weird reasons, the shades are labeled with all different numbers which confuses people! Love this foundation. I did have to exchange for the correct shade. I am usually a light cool, but that one read quite orange on me. I went with light neutral, and it was perfect. I have extremely dry skin, and this one doesn’t go flaky and stays very true all day. I don’t need to set with powder either, which I don’t like because of my dry skin. I bought this hoping for a replacement for Maybelline Dream Radiant foundation. It’s okay, definitely not a dupe for it. My requirements for a foundation are a pump, dewy finish, and medium to full coverage. This foundation has a pump and dewy finish, but it’s struggling to be medium coverage. Also for a cool toned foundation, it’s pretty warm. I’m going to keep using it just to get my money’s worth but I don’t know if I will repurchase it. No full coverage no matter how many layers you add. Which is fine but a point to know. It’s great if you want a little more than a tinted moisturizer but not as heavy as foundation. Read more
