I wasn’t sure about the color on my light skin, but it is awesome. The color hints of pink so it makes it not too purple especially if it is worn a while. Put it on thick and it will start medium to dark. Don’t be afraid, once you blot, it is perfect. I was used to hot pinks, cherry red lips, and needed to branch out to the purple family. Okay so I'm not a lipstick wearer, mostly because I look hideous in lipstick. I am always trying to find the right shade. As it turns out, after 53 years i'm just realizing that my skin tone doesn't accept "one shade" that's what makes this palette so good. I am able to mix 3 colors to get the perfect color for ME. I start with a little dark around the outer parts of my lip. Then a shade lighter below that, and then a lighter shade on the rest. I blend it and abracadabra I have my lips on!
