Happy with my purchase. You can adjust the brightness. I use them so I dont fall at night trying to find my way to the bathroom. They're pretty bright and they're modern looking. Im not sure about motion detection but they sense light and dark so they come on themselves when its dark. Good quality. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Good lights! Small and don’t take up room-nice and flat to easily fit in tight spaces. You get two in a package so the price is pretty good as well. No barriers as they plug directly into a wall outlet. Dark detection so they turn on by themselves and they are dimmable! Read more

The media could not be loaded. Excellent lighting solution for areas where you need extra lighting for safety when it is dark and an night light that turns itself off when the space is well lit. Brightness is adjustable so you control the amount of light it gives off. Works great in any standard outlet, thin and a small footprint. Perfect for my upstairs hallway which gets very dark at night. Read more

Helpful but not very bright. Ok for just a little light, because the light does spread well over a fairly large area. Read more

These night lights are the perfect addition to our dark hallway. I love that they look very stylish and not like a traditional night light. The dimmer is easy to use, but we prefer ours on the brightest setting for our long dark hallway. They’re a little smaller than anticipated, but I actually prefer that. The only negative thing worth noting is that this night light will stay on all day if the area is dark- it only turns off if a overhead light is turned on or if there is enough daylight to trigger it to turn off. All in all, you can’t beat these nightlights for the price. I will be purchasing another set! Read more

When I went shopping for night lights I was amazed at the variety of designs available. It is such a difficult decision to choose the right one without trying a lot of different ones. I happened to be with a friend who choose a store brand that I also liked because it has a very large soft front surface that glows rather than shining a focused beam of light like most nightlights do. It also has a unique feature that lets the user adjust the brightness using a slide dimmer control to get the perfect amount of light for the location where it is to be used. I researched that design and found this one which has the same features but in some ways is even a better design. But it also has an issue you should be aware of. WHAT I LIKE My friend’s device is about twice the size as this one and has the power plug mounted in the middle of it so you can’t use it without taking up both electrical outlets. To me that is a dealbreaker. This one is not only smaller but it has the plug offset on the back so it can be used in either the top or bottom outlet without getting in the way of the other outlet. Both brands have a slider dimmer control but with this one the amount it dims is affected by the amount of light in the room, so I would call it a smart dimmer. If for example there is a lamp on in a nearby room this nightlight compensates for that additional light. WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED The photocell sensor on this nightlight is very sensitive, it turns off with the slightest amount of light nearby. That in itself would not concern me as much as how they located the sensor on the top edge of the nightlight so what happens is that the light from the device itself reflects off anything that is nearby, for example in my case the outlet is under a kitchen cabinet, and the reflected light tricks the sensor into thinking there is more light in the room than there is (because it’s sensing its own light). You have to be very careful about where you place this device because if it is too close to a light colored surface it may tell the nightlight not to turn on at all. WHY GET THIS ONE The dimmer feature is the biggest selling point. I bought several of these for use in the kitchen, laundry room, utility room and main hallway. The one in the hallway is located directly across from a bedroom door that has a wider than normal gap at the bottom, which means most nightlights would shine too brightly into the bedroom. With this one I can adjust the brightness to be just enough without being so much that it disturbs the sleeper in the bedroom. These are well made and well priced. I like them. Read more
