As someone who frequently experiences ankle injuries while running long distances, I rely heavily on this athletic tape and go through it quickly. I have been using this product for years across various sports, including soccer, basketball, and running, and it has consistently met my needs. The strong adhesive provides excellent support, although removing the tape can be uncomfortable if you have body hair, which is to be expected with a product of this strength. Purchased this base on a recommendation from an outdoor friend who regularly wraps his knees and wrists when they're sore or injured. Helps stabilize the joint in order to keep going without worsening the injury. Helps heal by stabilizing it. Highly recommend. Read more

I use this as soccer tape and I thought it was a good deal overall. My problem, however was that when it gets wet (with sweat) it starts to lose its stickiness. I played in a game the other day with this stuff around my shingaurds and it started off great but halfway through the game my socks were starting to sag because the tape lost its stickiness and therefore was no longer holding my socks up or my shingaurds in place. I’ve been buying this tape for years. My last purchase I noticed the tape was noticeably thinner and less sticky when I was pulling a strip off the roll. The smallest amount of sweat now causes the tape to slip. I’ve been using this tape on my thumbs for weightlifting for years bc of how it never slipped. Now, all it does is slip. Quite disappointed that I now have to find a new tape. Read more

I don't think this is zinc oxide tape. Zinc oxide tape is supposed to be rigid. This tape is not rigid - it's very flexible and bendable. I purchased it in order to "turf toe" a sprained big toe, and even after putting like 7 or 8 layers of tape on, my big toe can still bend. Also, this tape is not waterproof (zinc oxide tape is supposed to be waterproof). My feet got very pruny after getting wet, and it takes quite a while to dry out, and also the tape comes unstuck very easily. I purchased some "firm support" athletic tape from Target for 1/4th the price, and it is a much better quality tape and I'd recommend that instead (though it's still not zinc oxide, it's higher quality than this). It stays stuck on much better than this, and is firmer (still flexible, but firmer). Read more
