If you want a nice thocky sounding keyboard this is one you should consider. The linear switches are very smooth and the 45g weight leans toward the medium-light to light side which is exactly what I like. The Bluetooth, and 2.4Ghz connectivity are good although my preferred connection is wired You don't get a knob like many keyboards but instead you do get both the Home and End keys instead of just one of them. I have not had a chance to test the battery life but it should be excellent with that 8000mAh battery. Read more
Amazing feel and quality, significantly better than all other keyboards I tried Read more
The keyboard looks great, well made and doesn't feel cheap. The sounds is nice and chunky, but not too loud which is perfect. The form of the keyboard is great, nice and small to save space without sacrificing much. The customization is great and there's fun options. My biggest gripe with the keyboard is the modification software. It's really cool that it's a website, so it's really easy when swapping devices so you don't have to download anything. The look is very clean, but I've had several bugs with it not loading certain portions like lights customization. The keyboard has 2 function layers which is cool, but they are only actived by holding the function button; there is no ability to toggle it. I was hoping to make a defacto numpad using the functions, but I cannot do that. There is a num lock button you can assign, but you cannot access num lock as a layer, and since the keyboard has no numpad it's effectively useless. I also found the macro settings similarly limited, and recording and editing macros was very cumbersome. The options for resigning keys and some functions are good, but I felt it was difficult to really utilize things other than that. Most of that is for customization and the nitty-gritty, and I don't think its a make or break thing. As a keyboard out of the box, it look works great, and feels great and that is more than enough to recommend it. Read more
Coming from a RK100, which cost more. I added custom switches and keycaps. Used it for 2 years and the POS died on me. I decided to do a bunch of research and was intrigued by this one. The price seemed too good to be true, but it is NOT. Half the price of my last one. It's build quality is much nicer. The attention to detail on a 60$ keyboard is incredible. To think I spent over 200 total on my last one with all the parts. Switched to a 60$ kb and in a million times happier. The gummy/clickiness of the keys is just plain nice. This review is for the MCHOSE G75 PRO 75% wireless mechanical keyboard. It’s a TKL keyboard with tri-mode BT5.0/2.4GHz/USB-C, hot swappable creamy switches (type: Linear, Operating force: 43±5gf, Pre Travel:1.9±0.3mm, Total Travel: 3.5±0.3mm) and double shot PBT keycaps. It has an all-plastic housing and the color scheme I have is white/green and its RGB LED backlit. The keyboard has an 8000 mAh battery and claims a battery life of 400 hrs (likely the max without RGB on). There are adjustable feet on the bottom with 2x additional height settings. On the back there’s a clever magnetic cover that houses the USB dongle when storing. In the box comes the keyboard (with USB-A dongle attached), USB-A to USB-C cable, keycap puller, 2x switches and instruction booklet. The first thing of note is this keyboard is a heavy beast. I mean, it’s surprisingly heavy, but I like that. Typing on the keys provides a ‘thocky’ sound but is considerably dampened due to its 5 layers of sound and shock-absorbing padding inside. That’s a plus and I appreciate when manufacturers do this because mechanical keyboards can be extremely loud and annoying to people in the surrounding area. With my testing there is no noticeable interference via 2.4 GHz mode or BT. I have a lot of devices transmitting in my PC area and other keyboards and mice I’ve owned have been subject to interference in the 2.4 GHz range. Not at all with this keyboard. Key actuation is good. Not overly sensitive with these creamy switches but they aren’t too heavy either. It’s a nice middle ground. Also, the keys are not loose at all and have minimal wiggle. Typing feels premium. All 3 connections modes work flawlessly. You can easily change modes by using the slider switch on the left side of the keyboard. There is no noticeable difference to me when using wired, BT and 2.4 GHz. Technical testing would probably show minor latency differences between the modes but with casual use and gaming I don’t notice anything. It’s just very responsive with noticeable latency. The RGB customization is very good. You can adjust the brightness, mode and color(s) very easily with FN + <applicable button>. This is a sub-60 dollar keyboard and I feel you are getting a great value for that price. It has a bit of a retro look and premium feel. There are other keyboards out there that have extra features like a interactive knob, designated macro buttons and LCD screen, etc. Those are nice options but you’re going to be considerably more for that. I’m a minimalist and I appreciate what this keyboard offers. Using this keyboard over the last couple of days I absolutely recommend it. MCHOSE makes great products and this is one of them. 5/5 stars. Read more
