After reading several reviews for this laptop stand, I decided to purchase it. I definitely am NOT disappointed. This stand has exceeded my expectations. The first stand I bought was not a good quality and my laptop used to slide off when used, so I threw it away. This stand is a great quality, heavy-duty metal. It provides the support I need so my laptop doesn't fall off while using. I like that it is not just adjustable vertically, but also turns around horizontally. I bought 3, one for the office and 2 for home and they are a game changer. Ever have your laptop show an overheating error message and then shutdown? Laptops have fans, typically one underneath and 2 on the top of the unit and they need to be able to circulate air to keep the laptop cool. Simply setting your laptop on a desk or your lap won't accomplish that, you need to lift it up off the surface and that's where the laptop stand comes in.
