These briefs are wonderful! My adult daughter is handicapped and in a wheelchair. She is very small but too big for youth sizes even if her weight is within the range. We have tried MANY briefs and it is SO hard to find one that fits her AND no 'wet outs'. Our DME providers do not cover these, they want you to use the less expensive ones. But if you have to add a pad etc it's brings the price up and it's bulky. We pay out of pocket. It is worth it! Read more
It's day use diaper with tabs. Not bad. Good for 1-2 hours. What I'm looking for is overnight 12-hour diaper, not pull-up, for a bed ridden female. These water drops on the packages don't mean anything these days especially across brands. The search continues. Read more
I don't have any complaints, they're perfect for the price, I don't expect them to be as absorbent as more expensive diapers, but for one of the cheapest diapers out there they're pretty good (better than most in the price range) as long as I put them on correctly I don't have problems with leaking, out of a 100 pack I've only had two tear while putting them on ( that was my fault ). I've learned that you can't be hasty putting diapers on if you want them to do their job well, I always wear a leak proof diaper cover with all diapers just in case I didn't get them on around my legs right, or get caught in a bad spot and they get to full, better safe than looking like you peed your pants. All around, I think these are the perfect day use diaper, I usually start my day in a pull-up diaper so it's easier for #2's on the toilet, I only use diapers for pee since I usually don't have the luxury of accessing a bathroom during my work shifts and have to pee a lot when I'm hydrated properly, and have intestine issues that make me constantly have to drink water so my kidneys don't try to shut down on me. I've been so severely dehydrated over my 28 years doing hard work in the hot sun if I get a little dehydrated my kidneys and colon try to shutdown on me resulting in crippling abdominal and back pain. These are the perfect solution. Quiet, cheap, and they do their job well so I can get my job done 🙂 Read more
The media could not be loaded. Sides/ and or tabs missing on numerous briefs in one pack that's been opened. Haven't had time to check the rest. Also, the absorbency material inside is terrible and lacking quality. For the price, I expect much better. The ones I have used on my son, has leaked during the night. I've ordered this brand before and it was great but quality control is not good now. Read more
The small were too tight on my small mother. I would go with medium to be safe. Also the sides rip very easily, flimsy material. Read more
we have a non verbal autistic 22 year old in diapers. he is 6’ 2” and only weighs 125 due to his metabolism and the seizure meds that he is on. it was hard to find a diaper big enough to fit him, but with small enough leg openings so that. everything didn’t just fall out. we were using tranquility but they have doubled in price over the last 6 years, and with 3 to 4 (sometimes 5) changes a day, diapers started competing with our food bills. enter these diapers, they offer great protection, and seem to be comfortable (as he will remove anything that irritates him, even in public!) and the resealable tape is nice so we can check him without destroying the diapers if he’s still clean. he drinks a lot of water, and these are absorbent enough hold it all during the day, and we put a diaper pad liner in for overnight just in case. he likes to sit like a bird, feet flat on the ground, with his knees in front of his chin and his bottom off the ground (when i try that, i fall over) so we appreciate the extra stretch and give they have. I buy these from time to time when the Walgreens brand starts acting up. Inevitably a change is always made in these "budget" incontinence products and usually it always winds up being awful. Not this time though. McKesson made the outside less papery and more soft and upgraded the tapes as well. It genuinely feels much closer to the nice, cloth-like fabric that you'd find on some more premium products. The tapes feel sturdy and remind me of those found on something like Huggies. The break point on me for tapes though is typically where the tape is attached to the diaper itself and not a problem with it actually sticking. Still, the last run of these that I had had some tapes that were very stiff and had some sharp corners. Those are gone now and some nice, relatively soft ones are in their place. Unlike the walgreens brand they don't seem to have made them narrower either and they look well reinforced. If they act up on me in the coming weeks I'll amend this, but so far I'm LOVING the upgrades I also only wear these with boosters so I can't comment on the absorbancy but I don't find myself leaking often in these or running into massive capacity issues too early on. I can say with confidence that the leg gatherers seem to work much better than the Walgreens brand I was using. They seem to have nicer elastic. They ride a little lower in the back as well so they're more discreet. Might not be ideal for bed-time coverage but I've not had too much of an issue there. I don't have that many leaks in these and now they're even softer and quieter. Overall I'm impressed. I really wasn't expecting an upgrade to these. I'd sadly gotten used to the papery, cheap "cloth-like"-"fabric" that every company uses in this price range. Very, very happy. I'll be buying these a lot more often! I don't know who's steering this product forward, but whoever it is, cheers to you! UPDATE: To update, I have had some issues with the tapes stretching a little too much over-time and needing to be readjusted. This has lead to some leaks which I feel shouldn't have happened. If there was a way to minimize this or keep this from happening so that they would stay snug then these would be ideal. Especially the bottom tapes which have a habit of loosening up on me which leads to the leakguards failing. It's not a dealbreaker by a longshot, but It's a bit annoying and means they're not *quite* as attractive for night time use as I'd initially hoped. Read more
