I used one of the towels fresh out the pack (like anyone would) and yea some other reviews are right. First hand these towels just smear your lenses and makes things worse HOWEVER because i know certain fabrics have much better quality once washed and dried, they are a lot better after the fact and they do a decent job with lense cleaning i just dont consider using these on any heavy dirt or water. Meh.. These lens wipes aren't great. After a couple of uses they make the glass smeary and smudgy. Better quality material will go a lot longer before needing to be washed. Not durable enough for me. Read more

Not much to say, really They were "as advertised." The size is nice, compared to the cheap freebie ones you get with your glasses purchase... they worked well fresh out of the plastic, but do need to be washed after a handful of uses - especially if you have oily skin that SOMEHOW is always getting on your lenses. Seriously, how does that even happen?! I attribute it to my chubby cheeks. I do like that each cloth is individually wrapped. This made it nice for keeping an emergency towel in my purse or car without it getting dirty or being able to gift to others. I am not sure how well they will work after a good wash. I can't test this out till I can purchase a delicate item garment washing bag, because I am not a hand-washing-in-the-sink kind of person. If it can't get tossed in the washer, I don't keep it lol. 💯 I cannot compare this with anything. Although, I can say they are a medium thickness. The freebie ones (like from optometrist that comes with your purchase) I find to be thinner; but, the one that came with a nice quality glasses case I bought for my sunglasses was thicker.
