mDesign Large Steel Free Standing Toilet Paper Organizer 6-Roll Tissue Storage Holder Container Bin for Bathroom Floor Fits

I don't want to think about toilet paper. I just don't. I don't want to buy it often, or have to be careful to have it nearby, or have it grab my attention, or need frequent checking or maintenence. I just want it to be there as needed and look discreetly good while it waits its turn. This storage container is great! The metal is sturdy enough to resist dents and light enough to pick up and move the thing when fully loaded. The paint is smoothly applied, even on the surfaces that don't show. I like the little handles at the ends, they work well, seem built to last, and amuse me. (The "elegant tin bucket" vibe makes me chuckle.) The paint will help avoid rust and crud in general in a damp environment, and this container washes/dries easily and quickly to keep it clean. Best of all, this storage container comfortably holds mega-rolls of Charmin (TM) and Cottonelle (TM) and probably most other brands. ("I don't want to buy it often.") Six mega rolls fit easily, no need to pull or pry the roll out, there's a little space around each roll. Nine mega rolls also fit nicely (that's the package I usually buy), with the rim of the container being about halfway up the third layer of rolls. Yet somehow the container manages to be compact enough that I can tuck it near something and it doesn't take up traffic space or get knocked over. This storage container doesn't have a lid, so I'm putting a decorative hand towel on top and tucking it in around the edges. That means I don't have to look at the contents, or worry about stray flying toothpaste etc. -- the towel is machine washable/dryable. An unexpected advantage of this design is that I don't have to open the container to check my supply, it's obvious from outside. (I must confess, I'm probably going to embroider a piece of cotton cloth and add elastic to make a ruffle at the bottom -- it will look like a "mob cap." Think of what US colonial women wore on their heads. I do a lot of embroidery, so that will also get machine washed/dried and replaced as needed.) Anyway, I'm delighted with this toilet paper storage container and look forward to forgetting about it most of the time, and being mildly amused by it if I do notice it. It's just what I wanted. This black metallic paper holder is nearly perfect. It will hold 8 small rolls or 12 if you allow the last 4 to sit on top, which will show, as you can see in the picture. Otherwise, it will only hold about 6 rolls of the larger paper rolls or 9 if you extend to a third top row. (At least that's what I remember, as I have been buying the smaller rolls lately.) The color black was perfect for the bathroom, so I'm glad there is a nice color selection. I only wish it was a little wider to hold more larger rolls. Of course, too much larger, and it would extend over the tank on the side. I would purchase it again. In fact it would likely be perfect to place another one on the floor between the commode and the wall. Something to consider. Read more

I have a navy blue one in one bathroom and a charcoal gray in the other bathroom. They hold 6 large rolls of TP neatly out in the open for accessibility but are decorative as well. Could use them for storing anything. Might be good for artificial flowers or to hold real plants in pots. Very pleased with how well-made they are. If you are looking for a very sturdy storage container that looks great then this product is definitely for you. Made very well and holds up to 6 large toilet tissue rolls.
