Lots of silly reviewers hating for the wrong reasons here. This is a solid game just takes a bit of getting used to and learning. Lots of gameplay to get your monies worth and cool story especially if you’re a fan. Graphics are decent but there’s so much customization available. This is one of the few games I know I’ll be getting every DLC for since it’s really that much fun! Read more

I've loved the Mechwarrior franchise but unfortunately this game is terrible. The graphics are goofily ornate in many places ruining the creative look. Scale of humans and mechs is often wrong and the production value and playability is subpar for a game on the ps4 or ps5 level. Even when running the just the tutorial the game has bugs. In fact I was blocked from completing the tutorial until I downloaded an update. The update did not even fix the broken tutorial step but just lazily skipped passed the broken step allowing me to complete the tutorial. Really just Piranha games trying to milk a little money with tired efforts. Meh, disappointed. Read more
This game straight up sucks on console. Get the PC version if you have the option. Wait for a few more updates. Find it on console for cheap, or skip it all together. First, the frame rate is by far the worst I've seen on PS5 out of the 25 games I own. It's so bad even after, what I think, was 3 updates in almost as many years. This as of now (2/5/23) hasn't been touched by EA games. A big mistep as it must be a big complaint among players. Second, the controls for some reason have you constantly walking forward. I thought it was a glitch but that's the way it was set up. You have to tap the direction stick up in incremental taps up and down to go faster all the way down to stop. At one point I walked up to a clearing filled with enemies. I hid and was getting ready for my assault and couldn't stop moving forward. Walked right out into the middle on its own and was imediately destroyed, me cursing the entire time. I get that they wanted a simulation of a throttle, but this is incredibly bad as far as tact. I could go on about this but you get it. Third, the graphics are probably middle end PS4. A shell of my friends PC version as far as resolution. Ok. I know PC usually wins over in this area, but the divide between the two as far as power is getting smaller with time. Nope, not this. Hope the new Armored Core is much better! Read more
