Used it so far for about 3 weeks and I certainly noticed a difference. I’ve had freckles before but I gained more and my previous ones got darker during my pregnancy. The freckles have certainly lightened. I also have a sun spot that I’ve been trying to get rid of. Turmeric is known to be a brightener that helps with dark spots. Kojic Acid is great for lightening melasma, dark spots, and sun damage. Niacinamide is great for redness, minimizing pores, lighting dark spots, and helping the skin barrier. Age spots, sun spots, and freckles (hyperpigmentation) are typically created due to sun damage. Hyperpigmentation could reach the deeper parts of the skin depending the severity of the damage. Given that I had freckles from before my pregnancy, I wasn’t expecting to see much of a difference from those but maybe the recent ones might improve with the product. This is definitely something that will target the dark spots and brighten the skin. It hasn’t left my skin patchy or anything. Upon using it, the smell of turmeric was immediately there. Doesn’t leave a sticky residue and absorbs very quickly to the skin. I did notice my skin became dry after the first week so I did start using it every other night. Even with cutting back, the difference was certainly there. I don’t use the toner or the pads from the same line as suggested on the instructions but again, I still notice the difference. I would definitely advise those with sensitive skin to be cautious and introduce it to your skin slowly. Perhaps use it 3x a week at night and then increase as your skin adjusts. I will also advise to not use any other exfoliating or retinol products while using this given that this has 2 very known chemical exfoliants. Also, having a hydrating moisturizer with a peptide or ceramide ingredient in it to further protect your skin barrier. Also, use it only during the night. And definitely apply SPF in the morning. Trust me, doing this and keeping up with your spf will prevent dark spots from forming. I will continue to use this until the bottle runs out to see how much lighter my freckles and age spot fades but I can definitely say I’m so far impressed with this product! Read more
