Perfect! I traded my traditional office setup for a floor desk and this set is the perfect accompaniment. Most of the other ones I saw were velvet, I wanted an all-weather solution (I live in Texas...velvet is not so great 8 months of the year). Very comfortable and supportive and blends with the decor. For those who prefer the buckwheat-stuffed zafu (the sitting cushion), this is a very well-made one. You can remove the excess buckwheat to get to the thickness you prefer, and I took out nearly 50% of it - making me think that few folks if anyone would need more buckwheat/thicker zafu than this one. The material is coarser than others, but I like it and seems very durable. The zabutan (the mat) is solid and comfortable. Read more
I feel better about my meditation on the Zafu and Zebuton. Helps to make it more of a serious endeavor. The only thing I would say is, check the dimensions to see if you really want the large Zafu, it was much bigger than I thought. I think I would have been fine with the normal sized one, who knows. Less than two weeks after the buckwheat-filled Zafu was delivered, I developed a stuffy nose. After 6 months of feeling miserable, we finally figured out the cause was an allergy to BUCKWHEAT. My symptoms became severe enough to warrant a 10-day regime of antibiotics and prednisone and a CT Scan that finally ruled out Sinusitis. Perfect for daily meditation, This is our second set from Bean. We really like that it is made in the USA. It is very durable and works well in our meditation room. We chose the orange color to give homage to the Buddhist monks. But we also have one in khaki which is a little less noticeable. Read more
