For those who prefer the buckwheat-stuffed zafu (the sitting cushion), this is a very well-made one. You can remove the excess buckwheat to get to the thickness you prefer, and I took out nearly 50% of it - making me think that few folks if anyone would need more buckwheat/thicker zafu than this one. I feel better about my meditation on the Zafu and Zebuton. Helps to make it more of a serious endeavor. The only thing I would say is, check the dimensions to see if you really want the large Zafu, it was much bigger than I thought. I think I would have been fine with the normal sized one, who knows.
