I just turned 60 and have been using this product for a little over a month. I am LOVING the results. I saw a review on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I am so happy with the results. I have seen an overall improvement to my skin. Hyperpigmentation fading, skin smoother and firmer. My pores are almost non-existent. I have been using my own skincare formulations for over 8 years, and this is literally the ONLY product I use outside of my own formulations. It gave just that extra boost I needed. I have always had sensitive skin, especially to fragrances, so I love the fact that this is unscented. I have had no issues with sensitivity and to be honest, I did not ease into the product like suggested. I use twice per day, right after I cleanse and tone and I use few drops of my oil blend after I apply the booster serum. I was skeptical and I rarely leave glowing reviews (see my other Amazon reviews - I'm pretty picky!). I have used various forms of retinol, retinal, and prescription retinoids over the past several years. I am 51 and looking to fight discoloration and sign of aging skin. Prescription strength tretinoin made my skin very sensitive and rough due to irritation, and I often had to take breaks from it and downgrade to a gentle retinol serum, which gave minimal to no visible results. I started using OTC adapalene as a gentler option but still cannot tolerate it daily and was not seeing the more refinement and smooth texture that retinoids are supposed to deliver. I have only been using this for about 10 days, so things may yet fall apart, but so far I love this. My facial skin does feel slightly sensitive but it is not red, rough, or burning. In fact, my face is soft and glowy. I'm hopeful that it will give the more and discoloration results I want over time. Because of the great price, I've decided to use on my body, as well, and WOW! I have been using a popular overnight retinol lotion sold at most drugstores and had some success with it, but this has amped up my results. My neck an chest are smooth and soft. I also use on the backs of my hands and on my knees/lower legs. My hands are smooth and more even-toned, and my lower legs have stopped flaking and also feel smooth with no ingrown hairs. I alternate between this and the old lotion every other day. The lotion is more moisturizing but this has really given results. I'll update this review if things change but right now I am thrilled. As a guy in my late thirties, I have invested a lot more into skincare over the last year and I have tried myriad products, typically mid-range/affordable to very high-end and this retinal skin booster is one of my favorites. I’m new to retinoids, and I am grateful to have found this early on in my journey. Despite the strength of retinal vs. retinol, I prefer this serum to the retinol I was using before. I think it is kinder to my somewhat sensitive skin and it really does give my skins boost! I will say that I have not yet used this more than two nights in a row, but I plan to do so now that we are entering the winter months. But I will say that living in the high desert that I have not experienced any issues or increased sensitivity, but I am mindful of sun exposure and daily spf 50. But this serum works! My skin looks refreshed s d brighter after one night of use. My skin looks and feels great and after washing my face the next morning, my skin is neither dry nor greasy, but well balanced. It also does well with layering of other products without becoming sticky or heavy. I see this on sale often, but even if it’s not it is still reasonably priced for the results it delivers. Dk yourself (and your skin) a favor and give this one a shot. I'm usually unimpressed with most skin care products. It's rare that I see much of a difference in my skin, much less an instant difference. But this stuff is pure magic.
