These are amazingly strong and very absorbent. We use them to re-position my dad in his hospital bed, no ripping, no tearing, no surface shredding. The wide edges keep liquid from overflowing onto the bed and soiling the fabric chux beneath. I don’t routinely use the lighter/less expensive ones anymore for bed duty. The light ones serve duties more in line with what those are more suited for. My only wish is that these came in a variety of sizes!
