During my hospitalization earlier this year, my lips became so chapped that they were bleeding. My doctor brought me a tube of Curad Petroleum-Free Lip Balm. I had never had dry lips heal as quickly as mine did using this product. It feels good on my lips. I intend to always keep at least 1 tube of this lip balm around. It's amazing. Read more

I found out about this brand through my mother, and she came home with one in a "goodie bag" from a medical procedure she had done. I, of course, took it, haha, and I love it so much, TT. I was surprised and elated to find it on Amazon!! I've tried VARIOUS chapsticks over the years, you name it, I've tried it, but nothing has come close to this. First of all, I have major sensory issues. I hate the feeling of any lotion/grease on my skin, and the same goes for my lips. A lot of the chapsticks I've tried, I end up wiping it off a couple of minutes later because it just spreads everywhere and makes my lips feel drier somehow. This curad brand of chapstick is very comfortable, not greasy, and stays on the lips very nicely; I almost feel like it just melts into your skin. There's a tug to applying it, likely the beeswax, which I love as it doesn't slide everywhere. My lips have never felt dry, and you get the added bonus of sun protection! Read more
My only complaint is that the main picture for this item shows two sticks of lip balm, so I was initially disappointed to only receive one tube in my order. In spite of the high price per ounce for a single tube, though, this has become my favorite lip balm whether I'm inside during a dry winter day or outside in the sun and wind. Like other people who have posted recommendations, I discovered this lip balm when I was given a tube of it in the hospital. Because it's petroleum free, it's better for the environment and for your lips. Because I was on oxygen at the time, they took away my petroleum lip balm and gave me this one instead. Evidently mixing petroleum and oxygen can have some surprising effects if there is any kind of spark from the equipment. So I'll pay the higher price and continue using this product. Read more
