Love these cotton pads.My husband and I use these multiple times a day with astringent.We have very oily skin and these pads work great to remove oil and dirt.Very soft,thick, effective in cleaning face,stores well in the bag.My husband has stubble so cotton balls were falling apart and giving white fuzzy and these work great.It does not fall part and no fuzzy.Will continue to buy regularly on subscribe and save and would highly recommend. 2025-06-05. Simply soft cotton rounds by Medline. 100% cotton. Textured. Lint free. 100-pack (×3). White. If you use cotton pads for any reason, then you know that they're not all made the same. There are some basic things you should look for in a cotton round at a minimum. The first, and this is an absolute MUST, is that it should be LINT FREE. I can't stress this enough. Whether you're just cleaning your face, or using to to apply/remove makeup, as a dressing for a wound, etc. If it's going to touch your skin, you want it LINT FREE. There's nothing worse than bits of cotton stuck to to your face (it's as bad as toilet paper stuck to the soles of your shoe.) Some manufacturers may not use lint free cotton and apply a meshed outer layer to reduce lint coming out. While this may be highly effective, nothing guarantee the absence of lint better than lint free. The other is that it's 100% pure cotton with no impurities. Impurities can be microscopic and they can scratch your skin, you may not feel it, but it's doing it. If your skin is scratched up, that's what the lint will catch on. Of course there are other things you should look for, but it may not be necessary for everyone. For example, if you have sensitive skin or are more susceptible to allergies, you may want to ensure you get something that is hypoallergenic. And depending on your application, you may want to look for things like absorbency and durability. From a performance perspective, these cotton pads by Medline are very consistent, even when wet. The cotton does not separate and stays a uniform thickness. They also stay strong even when wet and they don't fall apart on you while using. However, these are NOT lint-free, at least they weren't for me. With some applications, there was some fibers left on my face when using to remove make up. Overall, they're not horrible, and they did get the job done. The 300-pack is separated into 3 sleeves which is really convenient, and each sleeve is resealable! I purchased these because they were on sale. Not only are they good for facial use, but also for fire starters. I use these as tinder. I know that sounds weird but I do. I take and melt a candle in a candle warmer. Dip the cotton pad in the wax about 3/4 of the way and then lay on a piece of wax paper. Let cool and then peel off of the wax paper. I place then in a ziplock bag for later use. The portion of the cotton pad that doesn't have wax on it can be torn and ruffled up, lit and they will be burn for several minutes. We place them in our wood stove to help get a fire started. I also package up a bunch of these as stocking stuffers for my 2 grown sons who heat with wood also. Any candle wax will work on them. Give it a try. My sons look forward to getting these ever year. They even put them in there camping backpacks for quick campfires. They are thick enough to stay lit for several minutes. Value was great. Texture, smell, and lint removal all don't apply here for my use. They function better for me as tinder. Read more
