Super soft dress, length isn't the most flattering on me

This dress is so soft and comfortable! It'll definitely keep you warm on a slightly chilly fall or winter night. It's a little shapeless, but nothing that a belt can't fix. I normally wear a 12/14 dress and my measurements are 42"/35"/42". The dress is pretty stretchy, so the XL fits just fine as expected based on the size chart. I don't know that I'd wear this dress to a holiday party because it kind of reads more victorian nightgown than festive to me. Maybe if it was a full length dress or knee length then it would look better on me, haha. I'm 5'4" and the dress hits me mid-calf. My husband mentioned that it could make a good Mother Gothel cosplay though. :) Read more

Elbow length sleeves

The dress I received does not look as nice as the photos on the product listing. The red velvet fabric felt low quality and was slightly lighter red in person. The dress has a much higher neck line and the sleeves are much shorter than pictured. The sleeves ended strangely right at the elbow, and so it was uncomfortable to have all the bunched up elastic right there, but it also looked bad to pull it up above the elbow. It just looked bad. The neck line was so high that it was hard to get my head through it; far more modest than what they show in the photos. If you’re looking for a long sleeve dress, don’t buy this one. Major disappointment and now I have to do a return. Read more
