First off the good: It's a small purifier, the sound isn't too loud in my opinion at all (it's not advertised as silent, and most all purifiers produce some level of sound) and it seems to work well clearing out smell in a small space. I bought it to use near the litter box area, and it has helped a good amount with odors. At the price point and size, I did not expect it to be for a large room, despite the description. (Many listings for small areas will say large, if you've ever shopped for purifiers you've encountered this.) So I received what I was expecting when ordering this, and would recommend it as a basic air purifier for a small space at a good price, and am still giving it 4 stars. Now for the "bad": The description is inaccurate for sure. The coverage area is over stated. There is no fragrance sponge and no real time air quality monitoring (again I did not expect monitoring at this price point, you would be hard pressed to find this feature at a low price). The seller should update this to reflect what it is - a simple small air purifier that works well in small spaces. Read more

The listing said it would be a: "MEGAWISE EPI810 Air Purifier forLarge Room, 215 sq ft Coverage, Real-Time Air Quality Monitor, Fragrance Sponge & Wildfire Smoke, Dust Removal" under UPC 734257177215 and the model number shown for the listing was EPI-810-12. All that sounds good. What arrived is an EPI810 with no dash. There is 1 button and the manual says only has 4 speeds - that's the sum total of settings. no real time quality, no fragrance. The box has that upc number covering the prior transparency app tracking barcode and the box looked like it had gotten wet at some point but it was sunny when Amazon delivered and their box was perfectly fine. So, this looks like a seller pushing a return or defective item into the Vine population. Why I don't know. So, I've deducted two stars so far for the fact the listing isn't matching the product on the sensor and aroma. The next star is because turning it on sounds like a motorcycle motor. So, not quiet. Third star deducted. Maybe you'll say it might have been a return from another customer. Sending a defective return or rather a used item out as new would seem like a good reason to deduct a 4th star. I think I'll use the fact the listing says to hold the button for 4 seconds to turn off the lights and enter sleep mode. At 3 seconds it just turns off the machine. That's a 4th star gone. Read more

I had high hopes for the MEGAWISE EPI810 Air Purifier, especially since it’s advertised for large rooms, but it fell short of expectations. The description claims coverage of up to large rooms, but in reality, it feels much more suited for a small bedroom or office space. If you’re trying to use it in a living room or an open area, it just doesn’t make a noticeable difference. The size of the unit itself is pretty compact, which might be fine for some, but it definitely doesn’t have the power you’d expect for anything beyond a small space. It struggles to circulate air efficiently in bigger rooms, and the performance feels underwhelming compared to other purifiers in the same price range. The real-time air quality monitor and fragrance sponge are nice touches, but those features don’t make up for the lack of actual coverage. I was hoping it would help with dust and smoke in a mid-sized room, but the impact was minimal. Overall, this air purifier might work well in a small area, but it’s definitely not built for larger spaces like the description suggests. If you need something for anything beyond a small room, you’ll likely be disappointed. Read more

For starters, I’m very happy with this purchase!! In our household, air purifiers are an absolute necessity, due to my son & I having asthma & allergies, combined with having 4 cats— 1 of which sheds quite a bit. We already had 2 smaller air purifiers from a different brand, which worked fine but when we decided we need an additional air purifier for a bedroom, we didn’t want to go with that brand again, due to a few reasons but mainly thanks to their outrageously priced filter replacements. After lots of research, I decided on this one due to it meeting several requirements that I looked for while researching air purifiers, including: -reasonably priced filter replacements -quiet -not bulky yet strong enough for a 12’ x 12’ sized room -multiple speed options -minimum 1 year warranty Read more

This is a small, no frills air purifier. it has 4 modes: on, low, medium, and high, there is no auto or timer modes. There is no turning the light down or off at night if you plan to have it in your bedroom. In my opinion, this is perfect for my bedroom when all the dogs sleep with me, I typically don't have any pets in my room, but occasionally I do, and my allergies are awful the next day & I wake up with swollen goopy eyes. Last night, all 3 dogs were in my room, I had this filter on medium, and my allergies aren't bad, my eyes weren't itchy, swollen, or goopy when I woke up. So, since I already have a larger air purifier in my room that does have an auto sensor, I think this was just the extra boost my room needed to make up for the pets. Also, I had this on my nightstand, the other one sits in the corner of the room. Downfalls: no ability to turn the light off at night (it's really bright), no sensor (but not a huge deal for me), and most importantly, it's not very quiet, even on low. My larger purifier doesn't even sound like it's on when set at low and I sometimes have to put my hand over the top to see if there's air coming out (I have electrical tape over the lights because even set on night mode it is too bright), this one is pretty loud, especially in a quiet room. But, not necessarily a deal breaker for me and some people might like the white noise. For the price, and reduction in allergy symptoms, it's definitely worth it. Read more
