The Mickey Mouse wall clock in white is just adorable in our kids' red bathroom -- we inherited the paint color from the previous homeowners and just decided to run with a Mickey Mouse theme. The plastic material is not the thickest, but it is not flimsy either so the whole thing feels pretty solid despite its super light weight. Keep in mind that the metal hands are exposed since the face of the clock is not enclosed with glass or plastic covering. The raised numbers add a great texture to the monochromatic look and does not look "kiddy" at all. As far as the actual time keeping, it is pretty accurate so far since I installed a brand new AA battery. I am happy to say that it is very quiet so you won't hear a ticking noise like some cheap wall clocks do. I mounted this easily enough with a screw on the wall which fit into the metal mounting hook on the back of the clock. The estimated delivery date was a few weeks since this was shipped from China, but it arrived way earlier than expected. A++ on delivery. Read more

If you are familiar with Ikea's clock that costs less than $2, then please know that the material of this adorable Mickey Mouse clock is just like it. It is light matte plastic. I happen to own that Ikea clock that costs less than $2. In fact, it is ticking away above me as I type this review. I love that little clock because from way down here you can't tell that clock is a hollow plastic shell that probably weighs as much as a pencil. This MM clock is similar. Initial opinion of clock might be disappointing because it feels like cheap material (it IS cheap material), but it once you hang it up, no one's the wiser. Everyone that notices the clock in my son's nursery comments on it. It looks much better on the wall than in your hand. I have no idea how they molded the plastic, but it is well done and completely seamless. The blue is exactly how it is portrayed on my MacBookPro screen. The edge of the numbers are crisp, and the surface is flawlessly matte and smooth. It is a little pricey considering Ikea's is less than $2, but then again- this is Mickey Mouse! Read more
Many complain that this clock is too light and that it's flimsy, but let's be real here: we're getting what we paid for in quality. That being said, I personally like that it's a lighter clock because I live in earthquake country. I'd rather have something lightweight that bounces when it hits something below it instead of something that shatters or is destroyed. I used some glow in the dark paint on the hands, and while I was doing so I inspected the clock mechanisms. They seem to be pretty well made and like they'll last. They're made pretty well. It's worth noting that this was given as a gift to a Disney fan friend of mine (also my roommate,) and they were completely thrilled with it as a gift, and also loved that it was lightweight. It's got kind of a matte finish that for some reason seems to repel general dust. I'm completely fine with this since it just means I don't have to break out the tall duster as often. Read more
