This is awesome tape. I’m a rock climber and this stuff is way better than that terrible white tape that everyone used to use. It rips way easier and stays on. I tape my tips for working goes on my projects and it is a really good way to save my skin on climbing trips! Read more
Just put the grip tape on my parallettes and my dip bars. It is comfortable, and provides so much friction for grip. It is so much better than smooth metal or wood. I thought it would take way more tape than it actually does, so I ordered two rolls, and ended up using only half of a single roll for all the things I needed it on. It's very easy to put on, it's considerably cheap, and the tape size is pretty wide. It's my first day with them, so I don't know how long they will last before breakdown, but I will update the review if they do wear out. Read more
This tape is a dream for boulderers. It’s sticky but won’t leave any sticky mark on my fingers, it’s thick and has the right amount of stretch, it works well with sweat, it survived a whole of outdoor climbing and didn’t come off. It’s more expensive than a lot of other generic brands at REI, but totally worth every penny. Read more
I can’t recommend enough! I was very skeptical when I first opened the packaging; the tape was very soft and almost silky feeling. I thought it wouldn’t work and almost returned immediately. But I decided to try it on my old 20lb kettlebell (no texture at all on the handle real old school cast iron) I hate the grip on this kettlebell once my hands sweat there’s no gripping it. This tape immediately transformed it and I use that kettlebell almost every workout now. Once the tape is stretched the fibers create a ton of traction that really provides an excellent grip without a ton of skin tear or glue coming off on your hands. I’ve had the tape about 2 weeks now and have put on 5 kettlebells ranging from 10 to 60 lbs as well as my pull-up bar that had cheap rubber hand grips on the end that kept spinning. This tape solved all of that and has helped add 30% more reps per set on pull-ups due to enhanced grip and therefore less arm fatigue from over gripping. Even with wet hands going from a swimming workout straight to kettlebell complexes the tape has held up. Read more
Pretty simple to use and the quality of the fabric is great. However I do notice that overtime, some of the adhesive melts and gets a little sticky. This happens especially in the areas that come in contact with the hands. Read more
This is an excellent tape. I always tape two fingers of my right hand when golfing. This tape is the best ever. It flexes so it is comfortable. It tears off the roll easily, yet never moves on your finger. The adhesive is very strong--in fact the end of the round it takes some effort to get it off. Read more
Beware Hair! You won't want to put this anywhere hairy... Jeeze LOUISE does this stuff STICK! I bought this when I needed a wider tape (I had previously bought Meister finger tape). This works just as well. Where normal sports tape from the drugstore lasts about 30 mins, this tape lasts 24+ hours. I can even pull it off, take a shower, and reapply the same piece without issue. I recommend this tape all the time when it comes up in conversation. ... Just, y'know, shave first or something, because this will yank out your hair. Haha. O_O ACTUALLY, depending on how you use it, you can also slightly lubricate some of the area with lotion (lightly) and it will help reduce irritation. I had to do that on the top of my knuckle when I used their finger tape to avoid it pulling my knuckle hair out and making my skin red. Also, it does breathe really well. I have no issues wearing it all day and night. Great product. Read more
It frays on the edges and where you put the last bit on the tape itself. First time using this brand and the last time I’ll use it. Once this runs out, I’m never buying again. Especially if you sweat during your workout in humidity, it’ll peal and fray where you need to mat it down again to keep it from popping up. Too annoying. Read more
