Very nicely made boots! The price is great. I've worn Uggs for years, and thought I would give this boot a try, due to it being a fully lined 100% sheepskin boot. I usually need a wide width, and according to reviewers, the toe box runs wide in the regular width...so I took a chance, and the regular width fits perfectly. I love these slipper/boots! I wear them in the house. So wonderful to slip in right off the bed! They are waterproof and can be used in the snow. The wool lining is the thickest and finest quality I’ve ever seen. It does not itch on my sensitive bare feet! It does not flatten down much and it springs back up. The shoe molds to your feet. They stay on without socks. This is very hard to accomplish with most shoes and an extremely narrow heel. The extra arch support is good support and was a major reason o purchased this pair! Size up if you plan on wearing socks with them. I usually don't with this type of boot, but didn't on Christmas day. I got the olive color and absolutely love them! They're so warm and cozy and look very nice. Great quality! You won't be disappointed! Read more

I really wanted to love these boots! They are sooo cute in the picture! As a short girl I loved the idea of getting a boost of a few inches from the platform soles. When they arrived I was so excited! They easily slipped onto my feet (I normally wear 7.5 and ordered an 8, they were a bit loose) and they were SO COMFY!! Then I clunked my way over to the full length mirror and couldn’t help but just laugh and laugh. I was quite surprised to see that these looked absolutely ridiculous on me! Nothing at all like how I hoped it would look. It just looked like I had massive chonky feet! It was a hard no, I took them off and put them back in the box for return. Then I gave it a minute and thought, ok maybe it was just different looking and I wasn’t used to it. The boots are SO CUTE by themselves, how could it have been that bad? So I took them back out and gave them another look in the mirror. NOPE. They just looked sooo comically huge on my feet. Maybe it was because I ordered the black ones and it all just blended together to look like enormous moon boots? Part of me wonders if a lighter color would have a different effect. Sadly I packaged them back up and decided to return. If you’re confident that you can pull off this look, all the power to you! I really wish that I could have. They really are very comfortable and cute boots (although they do have this satin ribbon on the back that kept untying in the few steps I took in them, if I had kept the shoes I 100% would have cut that off). Another thing is, they felt a little dangerous to walk in. The facts that there is no ankle support, and they’re several inches off the ground, just felt like a rolled ankle waiting to happen. Aesthetically I wasn’t a fan of the inner shearling around the ankle being white, which stands out in contrast against the entirely black boot, especially when wearing black pants as I was. But other than those things I really did notice the high quality of these boots, and really wish they had worked out for me! I do want to note, this is my 3RD pair of Mel & Syd boots that I’ve bought. They are a REALLY GOOD brand and make high quality authentic Australian sheepskin/shearling shoes, and my other 2 pairs look so great on, which is what made it all the more surprising that these didn’t work out. Worth every penny❤️ I purchased these with arch inserts . ( I have high arches) Right out of the box they were like walking on a cloud! They run true to size. I wear a 9 . I ordered a size 9 they fit perfect‼️ Soft , comfortable excellent boot . Beats what’s in the stores hands down‼️order a pair if you don’t like them you can send them back …. I know it sounds like overkill, but seriously, these are amazing. These are my go-to house shoes, run-out-the-door-for-a-minute shoes, quick-pop-down-to-the-store shoes, and yep, work brilliantly for just regular wear. So far, they are warm when it's cold (around freezing currently), easy to clean the soles when muddy, and traction feels pretty good. For me, they are street shoes masquerading as house shoes and I couldn't be happier. First off, they fit like a dream when I got them so true to size for me. I generally wear a 7.5, but I also like thicker socks so sizing is always a gamble where it's normally better for me to aim at 7s rather than 8s. I did worry that my feet might overheat (I get VERY cranky when that happens - there are some gel cold socks, w/o ice packs, for plantar fasciitis that work great for that) but quickly settled into comfort. The arch support feels incredible without being noticeable. AND MY FEET DON'T SWEAT. Like, at all, even if I am wearing socks with these boots. The boots don't even smell so far! Real wool is a game changer and I am never going back. I do wish they were a lil more along the lines of a stylish ankle boot, but eh, that would just be icing on the cake. Since I love merino wool for pretty much everything (socks and layers ftw!), it occurred to me to look for real wool for my house shoes. With these: - I don't slip/walk/get pulled (pets) out of these like my old clogs that constantly fell off my heels. Tripping hazard avoidance. - My feet aren't tensed and gripping to try to prevent that issue, so that is additional comfort. - There is no overheating, no sweat, no smell (so far). - I have breathable, cushioned, and support-arch insoles. I have to have fabric/cloth lining in anything where I am barefoot as I can't be barefoot for any length of time. - The ease with which I can put on and pull off these shoes is a dream and now I can be barefoot whenever I want. I can only sweep so much with hardwood floors and crazy gallumphing dogs who seem to want to bring all of the outdoors indoors. Unless I am outside, I don't want dirt or sand between my toes - serious sensory issues. I had been wearing some clogs with faux fleece-type lining and they get unpleasantly matted down quickly. These don't have that problem so far and I have been wearing them pretty much when I am home since I got them. Read more
