I've been using my cuticle cutters to make my polygel or nail tips shorter (as I really don't like longer nails & play the guitar). This is a MAJOR upgrade. It cuts smoothly, quickly & is higher quality than I was expecting given the lower cost of the item, so great value. I would especially recommend this if you're a guitar/piano player like myself & need to be able to cut already done nails here & there for performances. It cuts so clean that I can use it while I'm doing my nails or after there already done. Durability is good, as I have already traveled with it not in any kind of case—it's functioning beautifully. Since the entire clipper is metal, I can safely tuck the magnetic circular parts to help keep all nails the same length under the handles that are curved which is perfect; not sure if it was intended that way, but it's a good way to keep it all together. It's not overly big either; the size is slightly larger than your typical cuticle cutter, so it's easy to store. Color is vibrant so if you like magenta, you'll love that; I'm just glad it's easy to spot in the drawers of all my nail things lol. Could not recommend more. Read more
