I bought this for my teenage son who is a XXL and used the size chart and measurements to get the correct size but it was way too small when I received the item. if you have a big belly it’s gonna be too small to close. And if you are broad chested it will probably be too small across the chest/back area. I was going to return it but since I needed a beach coverup I decided to just keep it. It’s really big on me but that’s why it makes a good coverup. Having the hood is awesome for those windy time on the beach or nighttime when there is a chill. I’m always cold but this this is still lightweight enough people don’t ask me if I am hot in it like when I wear a jacket in the summer. Appears to be well made and not too stiff. I have only washed it 1 time and it doesn’t have that starchy stiff feeling like linen feels. I think once I have washed it a dozen times or so it will be super soft.
