Snazzy pointed dress shoes
To get it out of the way, I rated it five stars because I returned it and I feel like rating it badly is like hitting them twice. It wasn't a terrible shoe, I think I got the wrong size and it was as close to the style I wanted as I had thought. It is not a wide shoe and was more pointy than I had imagined. I wear a 12 wide(US), but the wide size is mostly for comfort and I ordered a 12, figuring it would be fine. It felt like it was a size 11 and a half with the rest of the shoe being too pointy to be comfortable and slightly narrow, even for regular sizes. As for appearance, it looked pretty sharp. Pointy pun. No, but it did look like a fine dress shoe. I don't know why I personally feel shame at the idea of wearing pointed shoes but it honestly didn't appeal to me. The heel is rubber with some traction but the rest of the bottom of the shoe was completely smooth. Sliding around wood floors. The shoe material didn't really feel like quality material, sort of plastic-y. But for the price, they didn't seem that bad. Oh but the shoebox is very Chinese translation. It literally said "do not like you". I don't need to hear that from my shoes. Honestly, if you are okay with your shoes having a pointed shape. They looked pretty snazzy. You just might want to give yourself an extra half size. Read more
