This robe is a great option for those in need of a costume cloak. My tall, thin 9 year old got the kids L and it fits him perfectly. The bottom hits right around the ankles and the shoulders aren't tight or constricting. The sleeves are nice and full which not only makes them look better, but it also allows for layers if you happen to live in a cold weather spot. The fabric is pure polyester and it has a slight, but not too noticeable, shine to it. I appreciate that it washed up perfectly - all of the shipping wrinkles fell out and there was no funky smell that sometimes comes with costume clothes. We switched them out for a metal clasp, hacked off the excess length, and away my little Grim Reaper went, to do Halloween with her friends.
