Perfect for scleral hard lens, I don’t even notice my lens on it feels good. My vision is a bit clearer with this brand Read more
I use these for my scleral contacts and they work just fine. I use them to clean my contacts before putting them in, and then to rinse and fill. I haven't had any cloudiness or irritation to my eyes at all. I even wear my contacts some days for 18 hours and have no issues. It provides great cushion between my lens and cornea. Read more
I wear hard scleral lenses to help with Keratoconus and this, out of all thatI tried, is it! It is soothing to my eye and causes no irritation whatsoever. Lacri pure is my preferred brand and solution. While I often say that it has too much in the vial, the extra comes in handy because I sometimes spill it from my lens when I am inserting them. I use it to keep my lens cushioned and to maintain the moisture and keeps dryness away. The vials are easy to use because of it twist off top. I recommend highly!!! Read more
The ampules are awkward to use since they don’t stand up and can only be laid flat between each use, and they need to be completely vertical so the drops of saline go where you want them to. Not very functional. The top is sometimes difficult to twist off. The saline is good and clear, and not at all irritating. Read more
While not inexpensive, these are the perfect size for rinsing and inserting my daily contacts. I know they say you don’t need to rinse but I like to. They’re also the perfect physical size and fluid quantity for travel and emergency use. Highly recommend. Read more
Awesome product no issues with product itself. The only thing negative I can say is there is no flat bottom for standing up while uaing. Read more
These saline drops are better than other contact lens drops, having no toxic chemicals. These can also be used when you have a hard time generating tears by yawning and eyes are dry, but you don't want to use all the chemicals in most drops that cause bad side effects. The nice thing is, unlike other drops, you can use these a lot without any major issue. Just keep massaging your meibomian glands, expressing meibum, generating tears, hydrating yourself, getting good sleep and you will have less dry eyes. Contacts can make eyes dry, so this saline can be used to moisturize eyes too sometimes. :) While not as comfy as some real eye drops for dry eyes, they hold one advantage: price and far fewer side effects when used often. :) Just don't overuse them every 2 hours as some do, meaning only 1-2 drops at one time, a few times a day. They got pH 6.5 or so, like all 0.9% NaCl solutions do, due to dissolved carbon dioxide. But having no buffer, this pH doesn't hold, with ocular pH overriding it far quicker than buffered pH drops, so that's a good thing since physiological pH is around 7.3 for most healthy people.
