One thing to know is that they run tighter than I expected, so I would recommend going one size up for a more comfortable fit. They do not have standard outside pockets, which may disappoint some people, but there is a small hidden pocket in the inner layer and a loop on the back. In my photos you can see the front and back, the waistband and drawstring, the hidden inside pocket, and the back loop detail. The stitching and finish look decent overall, and the shorts seem fine for light athletic use. I wish the brand name was not printed, and I hope that it will peel off after a couple of washes. I usually wear a size large (32) waist. I ordered these in a large. I did not use the for running, I used them for a leg workout first. These shorts were lightweight material. The outer layer of the shorts went to about the middle of my thigh, which doesn’t bother me to be that short for leg day. The inner liner was very soft and went down to just above the knee. I liked that the shorts sat above the knees as they did not catch on my knees during squats or deadlifts. I don’t like that they do not have pockets other than the interior one, but other than that I would recommend these shorts. They are good quality shorts. Read more
I imagine these shorts would be very comfortable to wear; we will never know as they are a full size too small. The inner liner is a great feature to prevent chafing and to provide some surety that one's privacy is maintained during awkward exercise poses. The waistband is extra wide which would be very comfortable. There is a pocket sort of hidden in the liner that looks like it would be difficult to easily reach when wearing these. There is a towel loop (who uses that?) in the back which does not seem to be a very convenient location for easily grabbing the towel or replacing it. Read more

These workout shorts are similar to the higher end brand L________n. Very similar features (liner) and lightweight feel on the outer layer. Outer layer has no pockets, the inner spandex liner has a hidden pocket along the left leg for a phone or other small items. There is an additional loop on the outer side for a small 'sweat' towel, good for gym or racquet sports. The drawstring is functional, medium grade flat cord. The elastic waist band is also functional and comfortable in medium grade materials but not as flat, smooth, and fine as premium brands. The inner liner is more generous in size than the premium brand and does not give as much compression for smaller adults. Overall, these shorts offer an outstanding value for functional athletic wear without the high price. They are not the same as top tier products (which I also own) and you can tell the difference ...but in this price range, you are unlikely to find anything comparable. Read more
