I have a 30" waist, so I tried the XS version of the belt. The braids were solid and seems like it should last for a while. It take a little bit of effort to poke the pin through the braids at first, but that is to be expected for the first few holes. The only issue is that the belt is a bit thicker and a bit taller than necessary. The 1.34" height should be closer to 1", especially with the heavy braided material. The belt is fine with you are wearing heavier pants like jeans, but it will sag lighter-weight shorts (e.g., golf shorts) when you get to the overlapping layer past the belt buckle. All-in-all, it does its job so it's a good belt at the under $20 price point. Read more

This is a REALLY REALLY nice belt! I was very surprised at how nice this is. I have a few other belts like this (stretch woven kind) and this one is by far the nicest. And here's why.... First of all the the stretch weave of this belt is thick, with a tight weave and feels very upscale. Other belts that I have like this feel thinner and no where near as durable. The color is a very nice brown (coffee) color and goes nicely with jeans, Khaki's, or even dress slacks if you like. The buckle is a fine polished silver, looks good and it too has a nice quality feel to it. Here's the things that let you know it's a fine belt. The belt loop is large enough to easily fit the remaining part of the belt through after you buckle it. You don't have to "shove" it through or tug on it when removing it. Part of that is due to the fact that they taper the tip of the belt where the leather end is. It slides very nicely in and out of the loop. Thank you! Lastly, the fit is spot on! The size I ordered is exactly the right length, so no need to try and guess if you need to upsize or downsize when you purchase. It just fits correctly. For this price, skip the department store. This is my third woven belt I have owned and each has their distinct differences. This time around I ordered the smallest size (XS) as I have a 34 inch waist and all my other belts the remaining part of the belt is too long and hangs down. In the picture, you can see how the end has about two inches and is kept in by the last belt loop. The belt is a little heavier than my others and a little more stiff. These aren't necessarily bad things as I equate those to quality. The bet does have some stretch which I like as well. I love the color shades and the look of the buckle. Overall a very nice belt that does a great job of what it's supposed to do. Read more

I believe I like this belt more than ratchet type belts. My 20 year leather braided belt is starting to wear out and without repair, do not think it will last much longer. I like braided belts so had to give this a try. I was super surprised when I noticed that this belt stretches. Never had a belt like that before. No need to worry if the belt is to small. Belt is made of quality material and the buckle is tough. I have nothing bad to say about this belt. Very happy and will have to get a few more.
